MDs Comedy Revue

The UK’s oldest medical school revue present an original narrative piece: the story of Dave, told via autopsy!

Guided by a medical school professor, the audience follow medical students as they discover Dave’s medical history, and explore how his life shaped it. Throughout the 45-minute show, you’ll confront the assumptions healthcare workers make about patients, uncover the intimate details of his past, and meet the people who played a part in his story – all without ever meeting Dave himself.

Abbie Edwards: Knee Touch

Nothing consumes your life more than having a crush: making playlists, analysing looks, replaying conversations and – best of all – you never have to actually do anything about it. You can yearn forever… unless you leave it for too long and accidentally set them up with someone else. Abbie Edwards (as heard on BBC Radio 4Extra) takes you through her first love and how she almost ruined everything.
‘Original and compelling’ (Chortle). ‘Considerable style’ (Beyond The Joke).
BBC New Comedy Award nominee. Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Runner Up.

You Come From A Long Line of Shallow People

This is a one-person stand- up comedy show about my mother who died recently. She was hilarious, beautiful, brilliant and brutal. I loved my mom but we never got along. We never really liked each other.

I wrote this show to find the the places where my mom had loved me but I refused to notice. I wrote this show to celebrate my mom’s fabulous sense of style, her humor and intelligence and, despite her own demons, her deep desire to have her kids be substantial and happy people.
