Vistas formed in January of 2016 when each of the members decided to put all their efforts into making it in a band. Their live debut was atBannermans Bar in Edinburgh and established Vistas as a band to keep your eye on.
Throughout the year they released a single, “Sign Language”, and an EP, “Medicine”, both which featured sold out launch nights at The Mash House and Electric Circus respectively.
They also ventured outside of Edinburgh supporting many great bands including: Delamere, Hector Bizerk and Pleasure House. In september they headed down to Sheffield to play a sold-out gig for their very first gig outside of Scotland.
Vistas have been the cover of Spotify‘s Hot New Bands playlist and have featured on: New Music Friday (UK & Brazil), The Indie List, All New All Now & New Noise playlists. Their music has also seen radio play on BBC Radio Scotland and Amazing Radio.
