Palidrone: SPFDJ b2b VTSS

Ever since we welcomed SPFDJ to Palidrone for her Scottish debut in April last year we’ve been set on having her back as soon as possible, and to make her return to the club all the more special we’ve invited Polish techno vanguardist VTSS down with her for the ride.

Not many DJs can claim to experience as meteoric, grassroots ascent as SPFDJ. In 2018, she was inducted into the crew of residents at Tresor. Berlin (OFFICIAL)’s Herrensauna, the notorious monthly rave that has empowered and transformed Berlin’s queer scene in recent years, and her recent gig schedule has seen her appear regularly as a key feature of Berghain / Panorama Bar’s cutting-edge programming in the Säule venue, as well as internationally renowned clubs such as Bassiani (Tbilisi), Concrete (Paris), and De School (Amsterdam). Since her last appearance for us she has gone to launch the highly well-received Intrepid Skin label which currently features releases from VTSS and rising star Nene H. The remarkable energy, style and attitude that SPFDJ brings to the dancefloor with her sought-after blend of high-tempo techno, acid, EBM, hardcore and trance has truly made her one of the hottest in the scene right now and we’re delighted to be welcoming her back to The Mash House in October.

Joining SPFDJ is VTSS, Polish DJ, live performer and a leading figure in the new wave of exciting energy at the forefront of the Berlin underground. Comprising the harder fringes of techno, rave, acid, EBM and a touch of hardcore, her refreshing, high-energy DJ and live sets have been challenging crowds across the world, whilst she has maintained long-lasting residencies Warsaw’s infamous forward-thinking Brutaż parties and her home club Jasna 1. Her abrasive and dangerously fun selections together with a string of highly effective, no-nonsense releases on SPFDJ’s Intrepid Skin, HAVEN INTL, Repitch Recordings and bbbbbb have also led her into the roster of New York-based collective Discwoman, adding to an already impressively busy touring schedule which proves her as one of the most in-demand acts currently operating on the circuit.

This won’t come around again anytime soon!
