Shapework: Tessela

We are over the moon to announce that we’re bringing Tessela to the capital for our last party for a little while.

Tessela’s music is in constant motion, always moving forward whilst drawing inspiration from the UK’s rich history of rave culture. Slamming broken beats and a smart sense of rhythm have marked him out from the crowd, with a slew of records for R&S, Bleep and Poly Kicks (the label he co-runs with his brother, Truss) cementing his reputation for raw, driving club music.

As a DJ, he casts the net wide over techno’s crossroads and builds propulsive, polyrhythmic sets that use a number of ‘locked groove’ records to create new loops and rhythms on the fly.

Most recently he has teamed up with Truss to form Overmono. Signed to XL Recordings, the project explores all further reaches of their combined influences.
