In 2019, Hi-Tec made a victorious crash landing in the Scottish capital. Now, with 2020 just around the corner, what better way to kick off the new calendar year with a line-up of truly epic proportion that will amalgamate the best that fast UK psychedelia has to offer.
We’re very excited to announce our headliner from the vibrant Bristol scene, Krosis. A man of many talents, Krosis’ compositions cross the boundaries of genres, a regal realm that oversees a musical arsenal where basslines and organic melodies ebb and flow from dark prog to forest to hi-tec. But in spite his commendable output in internationally influential labels such as Woodog and Blue Hour Sounds, as the head honcho of Boomtown’s official Hi-Tec stage, Hitechnicians, we all know which stylistic alley his Scottish inaugural visit at Psy.Mad. is going to target.
The night’s mid-act minor will be delivered by our resident selector Phlegethon, who’s unrelenting take on high velocity psychedelic sounds has become the gold standard of Psychedelic Madness.
The last, and conclusive nail on the coffin comes in the form of our opening act, PsyUbik, Edinburgh’s legendary master of Forest and Night-time psy. A regular appearance in Cosmic’s lineups, his sets have been the hallmark of some of the best this city has to offer.
