After a little break from bringing you sideways electronic music and Interactive Electronic Arts, Paradigm is now back for a ‘one off’ event at The Mash House (where it all started).

For this event, we are delighted to invite Hobbes down for a special DJ set. A man we have been trying to track down since we launched Paradigm back in September 2014.

Formerly one half of the Trouble DJs, Hobbes has exposed his DJing style to some of the finest clubs and festivals all over the world. From tiny sweat-boxes and after-hours affairs in London, super-clubs in Shanghai and Beijing and hip underground joints in Tokyo.

He has worked with some of the finest names from across the electronic music spectrum including some of our favourites: Bugz In The Attic, Domu, Mark Pritchard, Neil Landstrumm, Hudson Mohawke, LuckyMe, Eclair FiFi, Linkwood, Auntie Flo, Fudge Fingas, Lone, Discopolis, Mount Kimbie, Creep, Redinho, Actress, JD Twitch (Optimo) and countless more.

Since launching in 2013, his Hobbes Music label has picked up support from an equivalent roll call of international class acts: MCDE, KiNK, Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson, Tom Findlay/Groove Armada, Maceo Plex, Kiki, Tiago, Ivan Smagghe, Domenic (Subculture), Chris Duckenfield, Fabrice Lig, The Revenge, OOFT and many more again, including his own productions…

Espousing a broad music policy at Trouble – ‘future-retro’ (where future classics rub up against genuine classics) – Hobbes knows exactly how to rock the party and always recognises a good groove when he hears one, no matter what musical pigeon-hole people are stuffing it into this week.

We are also delighted to bring on board Danjeli. An amazing producer and DJ who we collaborated with during our Electronic Arts Exhibition at Summerhall.

Danjeli know’s where is at when it comes to forward thinking electronic music and has been known in malta for throwing massive parties, regularly attracting 800+ people. His DJ sets are more akin to a live performance mixing stems of his own tracks alongside mash ups of little gems. We’re really looking forward to Danjeli Rocking the last hour for us.

Paradigm would not be Paradigm if we didn’t focus heavily on the visuals. And in fine style, we have Behaviour/Unstable Creations creating a bespoke club/stage installation with a unique wonky graphic style and Behaviour Audio Visual Dj set.

Plus we have our favourite DJ’s in the world Lee Marvin & Jimmy Jammin holding down the bar all night.
