Haptic 1st Birthday x Mind Yer Self: Austin Ato

We’re joining forces with our Glasgow friends and brothers in arms Mind Yer Self for this one! Together we’ll be celebrating haptic turning 1 so it’s sure to be a corker

We have a special guest lined up in the shape of one of Scotland’s most exciting emerging artists:

Austin Ato; real name Colin Bailey; is not new to the music world. His earlier work as Drums of Death earned him a solid following all over the world and rightfully so! He has also produced music under the alias’ Frankie Dreams and Coba. His recent EP “Song for Mr Lewis” on Phonica White has been deservingly sitting at the top of the essentials page for months and is getting plays from massive names all over. His use of intoxicating, lush piano and vocal samples has got us rinsing this record long after the release!

Colin is excited to showcase a mountain of his upcoming material on highly regarded labels and having heard snippets we can guarantee you’re in for a treat 🙂

A bit about Mind Yer Self:
They run bi-monthly club nights at the Berkeley Suite in Glasgow and have brought some of the most exciting DJs of recent years to their humble abode including O’Flynn, Earl Jeffers, Damiano von Erckert and most recently COEO. The night is more than just a club night however and raises funds for local mental health charity Penumbra whilst also aiming to increase awareness and lower stigma surrounding mental ill health in young people. They have raised an incredible £1400 so far and hope to add to that tonight with half the money going towards their cause.

Get up, get loose and show your support for the cause!
