“For our first party after our 1st birthday with Errorsmith we’ve teamed up with our mates at Leeds party collective and record label Treehouse to bring Happa and JABES to The Mash House.
Treehouse as a party over the last few years have hosted a huge stack of heavyweight acts to their home at Leeds’ Wire club having invited the likes of Pinch, Hodge, Bruce, MUMDANCE, Madam X, Minor Science, Randomer, Peverelist & Kowton + more (with frequent appearances from our guests Happa and JABES), as well as occasional parties in Sheffield and Manchester.
Since launching as a record label in September last year Treehouse saw the release of JABES’ incredible iKEA SUMMERS EP, a no-holds, genre-defying 5 track EP (with Happa remix), notably receiving support from Tessela and Truss on their recent Overmono FACT Magazine mix, which we can’t wait hear test the limits of Mash’s main room system. We’ve also heard JABES is a complete force behind the decks too.
Part of the Treehouse family, Happa has been releasing since before he was legally able to enter the club, not that it’s stopped him racking up a remix for Four Tet way back in 2012, and has since gone on to release tracks and remixes on a mighty set of labels that include Church, Bleep, R&S Records, Boomkat Editions, his own record label PT/5 Records, and most recently on Fnord Communications with Argot EP, which comes with stellar remixes by Kowton and Parris. Coming off the back of an International Black showcase at London’s Rye Wax and performing alongside none other than Jeff Mills, MARCEL DETTMANN, Blawan, DJ Stingray, Karen Gwyer, Anastasia Kristensen and our very first guest SPFDJ at Printworks London, we could not be more excited to be welcome Happa to The Mash House.
We’re incredibly excited to be working with Treehouse to put this show together.
Tickets £6/£8/£10, available from Resident Advisor”
