Club Uprising is a fundraising event in aid of Urban Uprising, a charity that runs outreach programmes for disadvantaged young people.

Thanks to our sponsors Alien Rock, Eden Rock and Hot Aches: due to their involvement, this means all takings from the door will be going directly to Urban Uprising.

Warming up the main room are the iFunK DJs (Nobad, Housego & Den) with their underground disco and Chicago house grooves. The iFunK guys are veterans of the Edinburgh house music scene and have played at various clubs over the last few decades such as Tokyo Blu, Musika and Karnival.

The main set will be handed over to local DJ legends and festival party-starters, She-Bang Rave Unit! Vicki and Kirstie are famous for throwing the rulebook out the window and will be bringing their quirky, upbeat set of house, acid, electro, techno, old classics, rare gems and whatever else rocks the dancefloor to Uprising.

DJ Chris B-Burg will be your host in the bar area and will be laying out an eclectic platter of hip-hop, disco, funk and soul for your aural delectation. B-Burg is likely to be joined by a few of his similarly minded spinners on the night.
