Notorious for his extensive catalogue of unreleased material and high-octane sets all over the country (including notable appearances at fabriclondon), Killjoy’s sound needs little introduction. Taking contemporary UK bass and infusing it with the hard-edged UK funky vibes championed by DJ Champion and his Formula Records label, his releases have received support from Marcus Nasty, My Nu Leng, Royal-T and Hannah Wants, alongside plenty more. His recent collaboration with D Double Edemonstrates his sheer versatility as a producer – a trait that’s always at the forefront of his live mixes. He’s also been instrumental in the formation and rise of Nottingham-based Tumble Audio – both as a label and a club brand. Think it’s safe to say we can expect big things from the guy over the next 12 months…
