Brain Dancing & Kieran Apter (CB90 Dance Recordings) ⥊ All Night Long

To kickstart our 2022 party series, we are delighted to welcome down new Scottish label, CB90 Dance Recordings, for a special main room takeover with Glasgow’s Brain Dancing and label boss Kieran Apter.
Glasgow music makers, Brain Dancing, have been regular selectors at some of the city’s best underground institutions for some time now (think Sub Club and Berkeley Suite!). Starting off as a creative collaboration between one half of Mia Dora’s Rob Etherson and former Berkeley Suite Manager and Subbie resident Ross Anderson, Brain Dancing transformed from a monthly secret party (where guest artists were unveiled on the night) to an acclaimed Scottish production duo. Following on from releases on Boys Noize records, Optimo Trax, Of Unsound Mind, and Brain Dancing Records, their all-new disco and electro Tell Tale EP came out on Kieran’s CB90 this December gone. It’s certainly one for the record bags ahead of this month’s Club_Nacht.
Joining Brain Dancing on the night is Edinburgh’s own Kieran Apter. A house-hold name this side of the M8 for a long long time, Kieran has rose through the underground to become one of Scotland’s most exciting talents. From supporting the likes of Mano Le Tough, Seth Troxler, Moodymann, San Proper, and Fort Romeau at his esteemed party series Tweak_ in 2015, Kieran has gone onto release on Stereo MC’s Connected and Braunbeck’s Sol Eternom gaining support from the likes of Pete Tong, Dixon, &Me, Theo Kottis, and B.Traits. With an impeccable knowledge of house music and versatility behind the decks, Kieran has landed sets across the Europe and the UK, repeatedly played for Scotland’s top promoters, and made it onto FLY’s Boiler Room in 2019!
Now putting his musical knowledge back into the scene, his newly formed label CB90 aims to showcase dance music in Scotland as well as various friends and artists that share the same love for quality underground dance music. A straigh-up passion project for the scene!
Room two support on the night comes from Sneaky Pete’s residents Hand-Made, Cab Vol’s Underground Society, and Mirror Dance’s Ann Tweak.
