Hotly-tipped as one to watch in 2023 by the likes of NME, Amazon Music, Skiddle, Juno, and more (!!!), Anish Kumar is already on his way to becoming a leading new light in the UK’s electronic music scene. His distinctive and boundary-pushing sound is not to be reckoned with and has already caught the ears of Four Tet and Caribou’s Daphni, and gained support from BBC Radio one stars Pete Tong, Danny Howard, and Annie Mac.
You will have been living under a rock if you’ve not heard his collab ‘Blackpool Boulevard’ with Edinburgh’s Barry Can’t Swim which quickly became an underground hit and was picked up on Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint alongside recieving major airplay.
Following on from sets at BBC R1’s Big Weekend, The Warehouse Project, Printworks, Phonox, Stealth, and Four Tet’s Finsbury Park All-Dayer, things are already shaping-up for the coveted new-comer.
We are delighted to have secured his Scotland Debut at The Mash House this Saturday (11th Feb). RM 1 support from Mairi B.
