We return for our monthly residency to embark on another exploration of new and exciting global club sounds and rhythms made for dancing and expression on our warm and welcoming dancefloor and immersive venue.
This month we welcome DJ CARMEN BAIA to make her Samedia debut. She caught our ears with her mixes for Glasgow’s excellent community radio station Buena Vida. Carmen’s sets embrace a diverse range of genres, including Latin-influenced world-dance, jungle, baile funk, afro-beat, and house. Her upbringing in Portugal rooted her love for bossanova (literally new wave sounds). Carmen’s instinctual rhythms effortlessly move crowds, encouraging organic and immersive dance experiences. A perfect attitude for Samedia!
