Picture the Scene is an alternative rock project originating from Edinburgh.

Initially launched as a studio-based venture by musician Lewis Speirs alongside collaborator Ben Smith, the project debuted in 2020 with a self-titled EP that established their signature blend of driving guitars, gritty vocals, and melodic hooks.

Rooted in a fiercely independent approach to the Scottish music scene, the band’s sound bridges modern alternative rock, indie punk, and classic rock-and-roll influences.

Over the last few years, they have transitioned from a studio concept into a formidable live act, building a strong local reputation.
